We are looking for a Client Partner to help 9-16 scale revenue productivity by expanding our client roster by creating long term value. As part of the 9-16 team, you will do more than just sales and client management, you care that your work will lead to tangible benefits in the lives of people we touch. You will build new relationships and revenue streams, design and implement strategic direction, and support existing teams and work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Your Mission

  • Maintain and develop key client relationships
  • Grow strong partnerships with clients (brand direct) through a consultative sales approach
  • Manage new business development, develop account strategies, drive deal flow and strategic market expansion within in your book of business
  • Liaise with our platform partner teams to build relationships and drive revenue via partner channels
  • Build a go-to-market strategy for target customers and vertical industries 
  • Evangelize our product solutions at both internal and external engagements
  • Adopt a ‘land & expand’ strategy, from nurturing new business leads into their very first project with 9-16, through to negotiating longer term, higher value, retained partnerships 
  • Constantly identify key decision makers, stakeholders and direct client teams for prospecting, whilst engaging with clients at all levels up to C-Suite to secure new opportunities and partnerships
  • Craft business development strategies and account plans for a list of targeted, enterprise level brands.
  • Diligently, manage, forecast and lead your sales activity to meet sales targets and company goals
  • Develop long-term creative plans for top-tier clients that use our product to solve creative challenges over time
  • Partner with other cross-functional teams on developing best in class solutions for clients
  • Lead and develop the international client team of 2-3 NineSixteeners

Your Skills

  • 8+ years of experience working directly with marketing, media, advertising, tech and / or consulting companies
  • 3+ years experience managing key accounts and/or agency partners
  • Demonstrated experience developing strategic brand partnerships and action plans
  • Leadership experience
  • A proven track-record of sales and client partnership growth
  • Experience influencing and partnering with multiple Sales and Cross-Functional internal teams with varying priorities
  • Understanding and experience with digital advertising technology & ecosystems
  • Knowledge of digital platforms and the essentials of digital brand building 
  • Knowledge and experience of digital advertising, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, X, etc
  • Experience presenting to and developing relationships with VP / C-Level stakeholders
  • Brand savvy-ness; understand the fundamentals of modern marketing and building strong brands in today's world
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Superb and persuasive communications skills both written and verbal / presentation
  • Ability to push forward with an open mind when it comes to work and approach to colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrate a transparent and uncomplicated sense of personal accountability for work and larger outcomes for project, team and client
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to getting the job done
  • Ability to adapt your approach in real-time to ensure a winning outcome regardless of the situation or dynamic
  • Fully capable of owning all strategy needs on client sales pitches of any size and complexity, including global and have a track record of success in this area
